We have extensive experience in removing wisdom teeth.
Wisdom teeth (or third molars) are the last teeth to grow through the gums typically in the late teens to early twenties.
Most people do not have enough space in their jaw bone to house the wisdom teeth. And as a result problems arise due to these wisdom teeth growing at an angle (impaction) that cause permanent (e.g. crowding of teeth) and/or persistent pain and discomfort (e.g. gum infections and decay).
For these very reasons, during check-up sessions at Warrigal Dental we include screening for any signs of adverse development of the wisdom teeth and if required, perform this very common removal procedure.
